Skein: Maid Marian (3/2 Mercerized Cotton) 800 yards

This large 800 yard skein can be used in a variety of creative ways.

* Playful color and texture in Saori Weaving.

* Yarn for Inkle looms, Card Weaving, and Kumihimo Braids.

* It is a strong, user friendly yarns for kids and new weavers.

* It can be wound into warp threads to be used as outline threads and texture in warps that used finer threads as the base yarn.

3/2 UKI pearl cotton skein has quite a bit of depth in the colors of the dye work. Because it is mercerized, it has an elegant sheen and a smooth surface. Fiber content: 100% Cotton. Gauge is K: 5.5 to 6.5 stitches/in on sz 3 to 4 • C: 4-5 stitches/in on sz E-4 to 7. Yardage: 1200 yards/lb. Wraps/inch (wpi) 19. If used wound into warp: Weaving tabby sett 10 to 12. Weaving twill sett 12 to 15. (I like to sett a little tighter.)
