One of a Kind Collection
This collection is comprised of 3 hand-dyed warps and 10 skeins. They were dyed in a single colorway while I experimented dyeing as many types of yarn I could find in my stash. Each warp chain and skein is a different weight, yarn type, texture. I learned a lot and now I am ready to let them go!
The warp chains are 5/2, 6/2, and 7/2 mercerized cotton, 4.5 yards/200 threads. The total yardage in the skeins is at least 6,040 yards: 3/2 mercerized cotton - 400 yds, 1550 organic cotton - 350 yds, cotton/rayon ply, 1,200 yd - 180 yds, 6/2 cotton - 960 yds, 18/2 Italian Fiipucci - 1,600 yds, 8/2 Tencel - 1,000 yds, 1,100 chenille - 150 yds, 750 chenille - 100 yds, 7/2 high sheen rayon - 1,000 yds, cotton boucle - 300 yds.
The length indicated on each warp tag is the approximate length after the shrinkage from the dye process. Each warp has a white info tag located at the cross. The warp is tied in 5 places: At beginning loop, the “thread by thread” cross at the beginning, a raddle cross at the end and a choke tie near each end. If you need more ties to secure it due to your personal setup techniques, add more. Please look over them carefully when you get them. If they will not work for you, please return them in their original condition for a refund or exchange. No refund on shipping costs.
