Island Life Warp - (5/2 Tencel)

from $58.00
2 available
3 available

Note: These photos are of 4.5 yard warp chains.

The warp is a wonderfully strong smooth Tencel 5/2. 5/2 Tencel has 2,100 yards per pound and the standard recommended sett is 16 epi for plain weave. 20 epi for twill. To showcase the dye work in the warp, you might choose to sett it a little closer.

The warps are wound generously in a longer length than listed. The length indicated here allows extra length for shrinkage during the dye process. This yarn has very little shrinkage. Each warp has a white info tag located at the cross. There are loops at the beginning and at the end of the warps. I tie the warp in 6 places: at beginning and ending loops, a thread by thread cross at one end, a counting cross of either 10 or 20 at the other end, and two choke ties near each end. If you need more ties to secure it due to your personal setup techniques, add more. Please look over them carefully when you get them. If they will not work for you, please return them in their original condition for a refund or exchange. No refund on shipping costs.

Please join us on Facebook’s Blazing Shuttles Chatter page for information about using Blazing Shuttle warps, to share photos of process and final products, and to offer insight and enthusiasm to others who are also using warps from Blazing Shuttles.

Shipping will be added at check out. An additional 5% of product price will be added to orders sent to countries other than the USA. (Minimum of $5) This can be avoided if you have an address in the US to which your warps can be shipped.
