Black Companion Warp (800 YPP Rayon Chenille)

from $0.00
Companion Warps are commercially dyed yarn wound into warps that work well with Blazing Shuttles Hand-dyed rayon chenille yarn for stripes or background. They can also be used independently. n

Bulky Rayon Chenille Warps are perfect for scarves, shawls, throws and anything else that you want to be soft and cuddly. I sett this 800 yards per pound chenille at 10 epi to show off the warp and make a stable fabric. When it hand washes and tumbles dry, the yarn comes shining through and it is softer than you can believe.

Suggestion: Approx sett at 10 epi for plain weave. You might sett as low as 8epi for a lighter weight plain weave or as high as 12epi twill. One warp of 80 threads weaves a generous scarf in width. Two warps are wide enough for a shawl. Or you might consider setting at 12 epi to weave a firm twill.

The length indicated here is approx length after the shrinkage from the dye process. Each warp has a white info tag located at the cross. There are loops at the beginning and at the end of the warps. I tie the warp in 5 places: at beginning and ending loops, the cross and two choke ties near each end. If you need more ties to secure it due to your personal setup techniques, add more. Please look over them carefully when you get them. If they will not work for you, please return them in their original condition for a refund or exchange. There is no refund on shipping costs.
