This will be a jam-packed week! Learn creative, nontraditional dye techniques to personalize your cotton yarns with interesting blending and shading of colors. Then use your hand-dyed yarns to design and weave fabrics for scarves, runners, clothing fabric, linens or just colorful samples. This class will cover basic weaving skills including choosing yarns, calculating and winding warps, setting up the loom, weaving, and finishing techniques. Beginning students nurtured while advanced students will learn tips and techniques to make the whole weaving process more enjoyable. Emphasis will be on use of color and good weaving technique. All levels.
